Status 180 EC
STATUS 180 EC is a post-emergent herbicide, absorbed by foliar route only and has no activity in the soil. It is moderately mobile by phloem and accumulates in meristematic tissues where it inhibits fatty acid synthesis, by inhibition of acetyl CoA carboxylase (ACCase).

Use: Herbicide
Formulation: Emulsifiable concentrate -EC.
Mechanism of Action: Inhibitor of fatty acid synthesis by inhibiting acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase). The selectivity between susceptible grasses and dicotyledonous plants is attributed to the forms of ACCase in species and their compartmentalization in cells.
