BRILLANTE® 480 EC
BRILLANTE® 480 EC is a selective herbicide that when absorbed by the roots and shoots is translocated upwards towards the primordia of the leaves of the rice plant. The herbicidal action inhibits the biosynthesis of pigments, photosynthetics and leaves, which causes the leaves of weeds to emerge white, dying shortly after.

Description
Use: Herbicide
Formulation: Emulsifiable concentrate.
Mechanism of Action: Clomazone is an inhibitor of the biosynthesis of carotenoid pigments in the chloroplast of the plant by inhibiting the formation of its isoprenoid precursors, phytol and tetrapyrrol, the latter necessary for chlorophyll biosynthesis.
