Mode of action: Inhibitors of chitin biosynthesis affecting CHS1 (Benzoylurea) – Group 15 (IRAC).
- It has a specific mode of action for arthropods.
- In some insects it also acts as an ovicidal.
- Astris exerts® a weak action by contact, not affecting adults.
- Excellent selectivity towards beneficial insects.
- It is not systemic, however it has a great residual action in the aerial parts of plants.
- Ideal for insects resistant to organophosphate and pyrethroid products.
