Mechanism of action: Fluopicolide causes redistribution of spectrin proteins (Spectrins) of the skeleton of the cell membrane, from the cell membrane to the cytoplasm, interfering with the functionality and stability of the membrane of phytopathogens. Propamocarb reduces mycelial growth and development of sporangia and zoospores, and affects cell membrane permeability by inhibiting the biosynthesis of phospholipids and fatty acids.

Mode of action: Fluopicolide is a fungicide with an ascending and translaminar system that inhibits the release of zoospores and the germination of cysts from zoospores. Fluopicolide inhibits sporulation and mycelial growth within host tissues. Propamocarb is a systemic fungicide that translocates through the xylem in plants and is specific in the control of oomycete pathogens. Both active ingredients do not have cross resistance to each other and are complementary in the control of the developmental stages of oomycete pathogens.
