Greg Montez Joins Albaugh Technical Services Team

ANKENY, Iowa, May 4, 2023 — Albaugh, LLC announced today that Greg Montez has joined the company as Technical Service & Field Development Manager on the company’s crop protection development team. In this role, Montez will be providing technical and agronomic support to the commercial sales team, coordinating field trials, and working with the North America regulatory team on new product registrations, primarily for the western U.S. row crop and specialty crop segments, including range and pasture.

Greg brings a broad range of experience in laboratory and field research, technical sales and educational outreach including 20 years with the University of California, followed by 10 years in the private sector. “Greg’s blend of academic and private industry experience, coupled with his passion for field-level analysis and knowledge of western U.S. crops are a great asset to Albaugh,” said Tim Stoehr, Vice President, Development & Marketing. “We are excited to welcome Greg and add his extensive research expertise and experience to our team.”

Greg is a graduate of Fresno State University, and has certificates for data management, GIS and is a certified Laboratory Safety Trainer.  He holds a California Pest Control Advisor’s License and a California Agricultural Applicators Certificate. He resides in Fresno, Calif., with his wife, Cheryl. They have three grown children.
